The Greater Shreveport Music Teachers Association was established in 1962. We have several opportunities throughout the year for students to perform and compete. We host workshops every semester as learning and fellowship opportunities for teachers, as well as social gatherings. Students are better able to find teachers through our database.
By joining GSMTA, you also join Louisiana Music Teachers Association (LMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), which extends your opportunities for engagement to the state and national levels.
