Baroque/Sonatina Competition

Location: First Baptist Church, Shreveport

Fee: $15.00
Flat Fee of $15.00 for one or two pieces for both Baroque and Sonatina. The required piece may be any composition from the Baroque Period and/or any fast movement from a Sonata or Sonatina.
The following time limits will be enforced:
Elementary Students--3 minutes
Middle School Students--4 minutes
High School Students--5 minutes
Students will be heard by one or two judges depending upon the number of entries. Honor students will be announced immediately after a group has performed. First and second place cash prizes will be awarded if the number of entries is sufficient. Students are presented in a recital format with an audience.
