Honor Recital November 10, 2024 Centenary College
Any original composition including the pre-staff level is acceptable. Pieces must be at least 12 measures in length. No transcriptions of original solos are permitted. Entry forms will be available below to be printed and mailed with entry fee to Carla Goben. Each teacher must send ONE check for all students made out to GSMTA. Students will be scheduled by age groups. PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO SPECIAL SCHEDULING. NO LATE ENTRIES. All participants will receive a personal ranking and certificate. Points are cumulative from year to year even if a student does not participate in consecutive festivals. Students receive trophies when they accumulate 15, 30, 45, and 60 points. The judges will select approximately thirty students to receive the Superior+ rating and perform in the Honors Recital.
